Natasha Kristian

Natasha Kristian is a photographer from Ukraine and the United States, currently living and working in Berlin. Drawing upon her experiences growing up between different worlds into her work, she looks for unique aspects of humanity and documents life as an art form.

She describes her relationship with photography as play. Observing things happening around her and capturing what excites her. Her work is often raw and closely cropped to create an intimacy between the viewer and subject. Through an unconventional approach to storytelling, her images each convey a specific mood and idea, offering the viewer a point of view that they may never have considered.
